Every legitimate peptide calculator runs the same two divisions: vial contents ÷ diluent volume = concentration, then prescribed dose ÷ concentration = draw volume (×100 for U-100 syringe units). The ethical boundary is just as fixed: the dose input must come from a licensed clinician’s prescription. Calculators that suggest doses are dosing websites wearing a math costume.

The complete formula set

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mcg ÷ diluent mL. Draw (mL) = prescribed mcg ÷ concentration. Syringe units (U-100) = draw mL × 100. Doses per vial = vial mcg ÷ prescribed mcg, floored. There is nothing else — anything more a calculator outputs is editorial content.

Failure modes we validate against

  • Dose exceeding vial contents (flagged, not silently computed)
  • Implausible diluent volumes outside 0.5–10 mL

How does a peptide calculator work?

What is a "unit" on an insulin syringe?
On a U-100 syringe, one unit is 0.01 mL — so a 0.1 mL draw reads as 10 units. Unit-to-volume confusion, along with the mg/mcg 1000× error, is what calculator input validation exists to catch.
Why do some peptide calculators suggest doses?
Because they are dosing websites wearing a math costume. No unapproved peptide has an established human dose to suggest; our calculator is structurally unable to generate one by design — the dose input must come from a prescription.
